In the once-illustrious Tootsuki Culinary Academy, a culinary crisis has unfolded. Azami Nakiri, now the director, has instilled a rigid ideology of "true gourmet food," suffocating students' creativity and individuality. Those who defy this dogma face expulsion, plunging the academy into a dark age of cooking. Against this backdrop, Souma Yukihira, the charismatic leader of the Polar Star Dormitory, rallies his loyal allies, including the enigmatic Erina Nakiri, to resist the oppressive regime.
As the rebels face off against Azami's loyalists, they must navigate treacherous alliances and deceitful instructors, all while evading the sinister Central organization, which will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo. With their very futures at stake, Souma and his companions must band together, harnessing their skills and ingenuity to outwit their foes and reclaim the academy's lost sense of culinary freedom. The battle for Tootsuki's soul has begun, and only the bravest and most skilled chefs will emerge victorious.
