About I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level
In a world where role-playing games dictate the norms of combat, slimes are often the most trivial foes to vanquish. But what if one were to defy the conventional wisdom and make a career out of slaughtering these lowly creatures? Azusa Aizawa, a former corporate drone, thought she'd found her answer in immortality, bestowed upon her by a benevolent goddess after a life of exhaustion. In this new world, she spends her days farming, protecting the local village, and dispatching slimes with ease – a routine that's remained unchanged for centuries.
However, Azusa's unassuming existence is disrupted when she discovers she's reached the pinnacle of power – level 99 – solely through her slime-slaying exploits. Fearing the consequences of her newfound strength, she attempts to keep her abilities under wraps, but whispers of her prowess soon spread, drawing attention from an array of characters, including the enigmatic dragon Laika and the cunning elf Halkara. As these strangers arrive at her doorstep, seeking battle or assistance, Azusa finds herself forging unexpected bonds and discovering that a life shared with others is far more fulfilling than her solitary existence.
As Azusa navigates this new world of friendships and alliances, she must confront the reality that her life of quiet contentment has been turned upside down. But with her newfound companions by her side, she begins to realize that there's more to life than simply maxing out her level – there's a world of adventure, camaraderie, and purpose waiting to be explored.
