In a world where nine distinct species coexist, humans have been relegated to the lowest rungs of society. Against this backdrop of discrimination, a young human named Light sets out to defy his circumstances, abandoning his family to pursue a life of adventure. However, his Unlimited Gacha, a mysterious ability to materialize random cards, yields unimpressive results, relegating him to the humble F-Rank adventurer status.
Recruited by the Concord of the Tribes, a party representing the nine races, Light joins their quest to conquer the treacherous Abyss, the world's most formidable dungeon. But just as they near their goal, his party turns on him, leaving him to face certain death alone. In a desperate bid to survive, Light rolls a card of unimaginable power, summoning the enigmatic and formidable Mei, a maid with unmatched strength.
With Mei by his side, Light vows to exact revenge on those who betrayed him, now nearly invincible with her and other incredible summons at his disposal. As he navigates the treacherous world of politics and adventure, Light's quest for vengeance becomes a crusade against the forces that have wronged him, driven by his newfound determination to reclaim his place in a world that has consistently held him down.
