In a life already filled with awkward moments, Kanade Amakusa's high school experience takes an unprecedented turn with the mysterious "Absolute Choice" curse. This self-inflicted affliction forces him to act out random mental options, often resulting in cringe-worthy and embarrassing situations that unfold in public. His attempts to salvage his reputation are constantly thwarted by the unpredictable nature of the curse, which seems to delight in pushing him into the spotlight.
As Kanade struggles to regain control over his life, he finds himself entangled in the lives of several girls at school, all thanks to the meddling "choice" system. His days are filled with stress and anxiety as he tries to navigate the chaos, praying for a reprieve from the next episode of Absolute Choice. But just when he thinks things can't get any worse, a chance encounter on his way home sets off a chain reaction that brings a beautiful girl crashing into his life, along with a promise of even more unpredictable and hilarious choices.
