About The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3
In the aftermath of repelling the latest catastrophic threat, Naofumi Iwatani, the Shield Hero, is once again thrust into a new challenge. Queen Mirelia Q Melromarc tasks him with finding the three other Cardinal Heroes, who have mysteriously vanished. As Naofumi delves into the investigation, he becomes aware of the rampant slave trade of demi-humans, a scourge that must be eradicated.
With his friends by his side, Naofumi infiltrates the country of Zeltoble, a hotbed of illegal mercenary activity, to disrupt the slave trade. To raise the funds needed to free the enslaved demi-humans, they participate in underground fighting tournaments, carefully manipulating the odds to secure a substantial payout. However, as the looming threat of another Catastrophe Wave draws near, Naofumi must balance his mission to locate the missing heroes with his duty to protect those he cares about.
