In a world ravaged by the emergence of terrifying Beasts, Willem Kmetsch awakens from his icy slumber 500 years after a heroic battle to find himself the sole survivor of humanity. As he struggles to come to terms with the loss of his kind, he takes refuge on floating islands in the sky alongside other surviving races. Willem's days are marked by loneliness and menial labor, until he's tasked with guarding a mysterious arsenal. Unbeknownst to him, these weapons are actually a group of young Leprechauns, who view themselves as mere instruments of war.
Among this group is Chtholly Nota Seniorious, a fearless warrior willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good. As Willem watches over the Leprechauns with a paternal eye, he finds himself drawn to their unwavering dedication to their cause. Despite his own past bravery, Willem now hopes only for the safe return of those who venture into the fray against the monstrous Beasts that destroyed his world.
As Willem's bond with the Leprechauns deepens, he becomes a symbol of hope in a world ravaged by conflict. Will he find a way to overcome his own trauma and join the fight against the Beasts, or will he continue to live in the shadows, watching over the young warriors who have become his new family?
