In the world of romantic comedies, Yonosuke Sakai, a self-proclaimed aficionado, has always been fascinated by the notion of childhood friends blossoming into something more. But, in his mind, these perfect, loving relationships exist solely in fiction. Despite having two childhood friends, Shio Minamo and Akari Hiodoshi, by his side, Eiyuu has never considered them as anything beyond platonic companions.
As they navigate the ups and downs of high school together, Eiyuu's gaze begins to linger on the girls, and his interest slowly starts to simmer. Unbeknownst to him, Shio and Akari begin to subtly express their own feelings, making their moves at every opportunity.
